We complete all of our frying in Highly Refined Peanut Oil.

While there is a wide variety of allergens that could be present in our menu items, here’s a breakdown of the most common! If you have any additional allergen questions, please email us at hello@howlinrays.com or text us at 213.935.8399.

DAIRY - all of our chicken is dredged in milk and unfortunately is not dairy free. 

EGGS - there is Egg used in our Banana  Pudding! Both our Comeback Sauce and Tennessee Tang are mayo based sauces which include pasteurized Eggs.

NUTS – no added nuts in our menu items!

SOY – no added soy in our menu items! However, soybean oil is present in both our Mayo Based sauces (Comeback Sauce & Tennesee Tang) and Soy Lecithin is present in our bread (but not our buns)!

MUSTARD – both mustard and mustard see is used in a large variety of our menu items. With the tight quarters of our kitchen, there is a possibility that most items are exposed!

Our Collard Greens, Shake Fries, Vinegar Slaw, Potato Salad, and Pickles, and are all Vegetarian friendly! Try our Veggie Mario Style Fries — Shake Fries, Vinegar Slaw, and pickles! Cheese and Comeback Sauce optional if you choose.

Our Shake Fries, Vinegar Slaw, Potato Salad, pickles, and dipping sauces are all gluten free! However – due to the tight quarters of our restaurants, there is a possibility that most items are exposed to gluten!

Our Shakes are made up of a blend of spices so we can’t get an exact Scoville rating locked in, but if we had to estimate, our HOWLIN’ heat level is approx. 2 million + on the Scoville scale!

Our Chicken is not certified halal, but it is hormone and antibiotic free, plus pasture raised!

We use a variety of freshly ground peppers in our Shake Blends, including Trinidad Scorpian, Carolina Reaper, and Ghost Pepper! If you have any questions regarding specific Shake heat levels, our Crew members are more than happy to assist you.

We do not have nutritional facts available for our menu items at this time, but it is something that we are working towards for the future!

Yes! Anyone in line by 7:00PM will still be served and can join us for dine in to enjoy their meal. Alternatively, if you place a Postmates order before/by 7:00PM, this will still be prepared + typically delivered as per usual!

Yes! We have physical gift cards available for purchase at both our Chinatown and Pasadena locations!
